Great news. We now have a new road race being held on Sunday 2nd June in Slane. It is due to the hard work of Gerry Campbell from Drogheda Wheelers and others. See below the early details of the race :
”As you know there are no road race events in Leinster on the next three Sundays.Noel Clarke, myself and a few others have come together to promote a new event on Sun June 2nd in Slane Co Meath with the backing and support of Cycling Leinster. To the best of my knowledge there no other one day race on anywhere that day.so again we’re trying to do our bit. The event will be the Boyne GP and will be based in Slane Co Meath. The sign on will be in Ryans pub, Gormalough from 9.30 am with an 11am start.”
It is planned to run 3 x races on the day as follows
